I am a tax researcher from Berlin, Germany. In 2025, I completed my doctorate (Dr. rer. pol.) at Freie Universität Berlin. Professionally, I work as a tax advisor (Steuerberater) and help clients in all kinds of issues regarding German tax law.
In my research, I focus on value-added tax . I study how certain types of anti-fraud measures - such as digitalization of tax authorities - can reduce tax fraud that causes billions of losses each year within the European Union. I am mainly interested in shedding light on the comprehensive effect of anti-fraud measures on tax revenues and firms.
